Bentley Financial Services offers a pre-inspection of your vehicle, free of charge, before the conclusion of your lease. The complimentary service is an important step that can help you avoid any excess wear charges.
Approximately 60 days prior to your lease termination date, a lease-end specialist will contact you to schedule an appointment at a location that is most convenient for you, whether at your home, your office, or an Official Bentley Dealer.
Review your pre-inspection results.
Once your vehicle pre-inspection is complete, Bentley Financial Services will contact you with a report detailing any estimated excess wear charges. Descriptions and images are available at www.autovinlive.com (enter the inspection ID or account number and the last eight digits of your VIN).
We recommend making necessary repairs with an authorized Bentley dealer to avoid excess wear charges, prior to your lease return. Retain repair receipts and send to bfs.remarketing@bentleyfs.com or fax them to 1 866 586 0985 before your return date.
Remember, if you require any guidance throughout this process, Bentley Financial Services is available to assist you at 1 888 641 6386 (option 3).
Reserve a time to return your Bentley vehicle.
Reach out to your Official Bentley Dealer to schedule the return of your vehicle. If you choose not to take advantage of the complimentary vehicle pre-inspection, a final vehicle inspection will take place at the Bentley dealer by our third-party inspection company, typically within a few days of vehicle return. You will be responsible for any excess wear and excess mileage charges based upon the terms of your lease agreement.
Review your last lease-end statement.
After you have returned your vehicle, you will receive your lease-end statement in the mail detailing any charges incurred for excess wear, excess mileage, vehicle disposition charges1, and any other applicable amounts due. If you purchased the optional Bentley Lease-end Protection, any applicable coverage will be reflected on your final invoice.
If you purchased any optional protection products and believe you have a claim, please check with your coverage provider prior to returning the vehicle.
